The techniques chosen at this academy are carefully chosen and designed to work at the highest levels and at an affordable price. A variety of classes are available for hobbyists to national champions. Nonetheless, you can always expect at Balance a respectful environment where we not only help build each other skills but also build character, confidence, and life-long friendships.

Fundamentals 101
For All Ages & Skill levels.
Students learn the fundamentals of sport jiu-jitsu with safe partners. This class consists of learning modules that help the beginner learn the game, and the more seasoned practitioner strengthen their fundamentals.
Modules are changed weekly or biweekly depending on the amount of material on a certain topic. A normal class consists of 2-3 techniques taught in detail ending with round-based positional sparring and micro battles.

Advanced 201
Highly Technical
Classes designed for experienced adults and older teen practitioners who have a firm understanding of the basics and fundamentals. Heavily technical and high-paced drills with the primary focus being competition orientated, the curriculum is based on competition scenarios awarding the student the ability to train towards specific goals. Exploring high-level concepts and techniques.

Open To All Members of All Levels.
Open Mat time is for students to come together to train and test their moves. No formal lessons, the students can spar (roll), drill techniques, and ask questions to fellow students. It is a perfect time to talk, laugh, and train at your own pace working on personal goals.
